“ We spontaneously decided to come here for the first time on a Sunday evening. The restaurant was nicely full, but not too crowded, which was very pleasant. The menu was varied and easy to navigate – the latter being a sign of good quality, in my opinion. What can I say? We weren't disappointed; solid, tasty home-style cooking at very fair prices. Plus, they had a well-curated selection of beers from regional breweries, in my opinion. Overall, we really enjoyed ourselves and will definitely come back! ”

“ The inn looks unassuming from the outside. But inside it's beautifully decorated with a great terrace. The owner and host is a wonderful guy who enjoys chatting with his guests. That's how it should be. Other places could learn a thing or two from him. The drinks arrived very quickly. A little tip: ask for a beer recommendation. The food arrived quickly and everything was freshly prepared. My wife had a Gerber schnitzel, the kids had schnitzel and nuggets, and I had a Gerber XXL burger. We were all completely full, and it was absolutely delicious. All in all, a very good choice! ”

“ We were absolutely thrilled; the ambiance is fantastic. Outside, you sit on a very large wooden terrace that runs over a stream. There are plenty of large parasols available. The pizza was very good, and so was the burger. Our food seemed to be brought by the cook, who is very nice. They serve draft beer, Kulmbacher Pils, and the really excellent Heckel beer (which even won me over as a Pils drinker). ”

The beer selection is ample, and since they're all regional brews, there's definitely something for everyone. The prices are also reasonable. The staff is always cheerful, and a friendly chat with the owner is practically a standard part of every visit. All in all, there's a lovely atmosphere, both inside at the bar or tables and outside on the terrace. In short: Gerber is always worth a visit! ”
